Café Danon captures the Machane Yehuda 'shuk' in Jerusalem, Israel. This is a place where time seems to stand still. This seemingly mundane scene, depicts the shopkeeper minding his own business as the hustle and bustle passes by.

The multitude of vibrant colors is composed of only 4 acrylic pigments (cyan blue, magenta, yellow and black) with transparent and opaque acrylic mediums. The colors are painstakingly layered, creating an energized, dimensional effect that shifts as you move close to the painting, and step further back.
