Rav Elchonon Bunim Wasserman (1874-1941) was a prominent Lithuanian rabbi and Talmudic scholar, serving as rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Ohel Torah-Baranovich. Born in Biržai, Lithuania, he studied under the Chofetz Chaim and became known for his deep Torah insights and leadership in Agudath Israel. Wasserman's scholarly contributions include "Kovetz Heoros" and "Kovetz Shiurim," which are still studied today. He was tragically killed by Lithuanian collaborators during the Holocaust in Kaunas Fortress on July 6, 1941, leaving behind a significant legacy in Jewish learning and leadership.
